Simple to make, healthy and great for on-the-go families!
Try this easy and delicious breakfast packed full of potassium, vitamin A and fiber, it is sure to give your family plenty of energy through to lunch!
INGREDIENTS
3/4 C B & R Farms Apricot-Honey Spread
1/2 C almond butter
1/2 t cinnamon
3 C honey-graham cereal (crushed)
1 C crispy rice cereal
1/2 C slivered almonds, toasted
1/2 C B & R Farms Diced Dried Apricots
2 t pure vanilla extract
Option: ½ C shredded coconut
DIRECTIONS
Heat honey until boiling in large pan. Reduce heat, continue cooking for 5 minutes. Stir in butter, cinnamon, cereal & almonds. Add apricots and vanilla. Add optional coconut. Spread onto a prepared baking sheet.
Cool 10 minutes, then press down firmly on mixture with a wide spatula. Cool completely, then cut into bars, individually wrapping for ‘take & go” breakfast.
