It is with truly heavy hearts that we have to share this news.
Due to the unpredictable weather conditions we experienced this spring, we are unfortunately unable to host our Fresh Blenheim Apricot U-Pick event this year. As a result, we must cancel all scheduled U-Pick dates of June 26–28, 2026.
This decision was not made lightly. The unusual weather accelerated the ripening process, and the fruit simply will not be able to remain on the trees until our planned event dates. In an effort to salvage as much of this year's crop as possible, our crew has already begun harvesting the fruit earlier than anticipated.
We are absolutely devastated. Our U-Pick event is one of our favorite traditions each year—a chance to welcome you, your friends, and your families onto the farm, share the orchard experience, and celebrate the Blenheim apricot harvest together. We know many of you look forward to this event just as much as we do, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this change may cause.
While we won't be able to host U-Pick this season, we still want to help you enjoy fresh Blenheim apricots. As our crew continues harvesting, we have pre-picked fresh apricots available for purchase in our farm store in:
If you are hoping to purchase fresh fruit this season, we encourage you to visit sooner rather than later, as availability will depend on the harvest and demand.
We understand many of you arrange your schedules around this event, and we wanted to be as transparent as possible rather than risk disappointing you later. This year's weather has reminded us once again that farming is always at the mercy of Mother Nature.
