INGREDIENTS
½ cup of B&R Farms Apricot Spread
2 layers of puff pastry
1 whisked egg with a dash of water (egg wash)
Flaked almonds (garnish)
Powdered Sugar (garnish)
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Spread the Apricot Spread between the two layers of puff pastry then cut the pastry into one inch strips.
- Twist and shape into hearts then place on a prepared baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash and garnish with almonds and powdered sugar.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a rack before serving.
