Apricot and Almond Hearts

INGREDIENTS

½ cup of B&R Farms Apricot Spread

2 layers of puff pastry

1 whisked egg with a dash of water (egg wash)

Flaked almonds (garnish)

Powdered Sugar (garnish)

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Spread the Apricot Spread between the two layers of puff pastry then cut the pastry into one inch strips.
  3. Twist and shape into hearts then place on a prepared baking sheet.
  4. Brush with egg wash and garnish with almonds and powdered sugar.
  5. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a rack before serving.
